TO ALL, Here is a link to a letter sent to Dr. Friedman of the FDA by The Public Citizens Research Group. Seven weeks and at least as many deaths and God only knows how many adverse reactions later the plea to the FDA still falls on completely deaf ears. citizen.org As Zebra mentioned earlier, Pfizer is the fifth largest spender of money for lobbying the politicians in Washington DC. It appears quite clear that the agenda is to place dollars over the public safety. My next research goal is to find exactly how much Pfizer spends on lobbying Washington. Dr. Wolfe is merely requesting that the FDA helps protect the public health by forcing Pfizer to expand the labeling of Viagra so that more warnings/information is provided. The FDA won't budge because of one reason--Pfizer clout. Pfizer would rather face greater liabilities than lose any part of the ED pool. Greed over patient safety. It's that simple.
