Bill,

Just my thoughts...I have been watching the call options for a while, especially during the Jun, July, and now Aug expiration periods...I have most of the options table print-outs and have been analyze the open interests balances.....

Of course, I was very stupid during the Jun expiry and did not know what was going on..After closing all my uncovered calls....I did a few calls/puts during July expiry and understood a lot more. I see the same call pressure/strategies employed by the same players; I assume, and think that I understand the variables a lot more clearly now.

Once I understand/understood the "whys", I need to utilize my own competitive advantages, and I may outlast the elephants and get most of my money back with minimum exposure....if the elephants last long enough!!

My disadvantages are I have limit trading experience/knowledge and do not have reference in the I-sector...I know that you trade Yhoo/Amzn and others in this sector together....and I think that it's a competitive advantage you have and I appreciate your insights in this area very much!

Regards, Jan

Tom Kurlak is a very influential analyst. I want to read what he has to say.

I am sure you will see all the details...He basically "down-graded" both Intc and Txn.

I said incorrectly in my previous post; I have covered Intc calls.

Forrester Research Predictions for U.S. Internet Commerce Revenue....

The current issue of Fortune magazine (off-line, August 17) has an article about Cisco Systems. It includes a graph with the following estimates from Forrester Research for U.S. (not global) internet commerce revenue, in billions

1997 $ 8
1998 $ 17
1999 $ 40
2000 $105
2001 $190
2002 $325
Just want to be sure that the bears appreciate what they are betting against.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, maybe we should double the numbers above to reflect total global internet commerce.

Best Regards,
Tom D
