Sure I agree that able bodied people that choose not to work are freeloaders.I didn't say that there aren't people who make less than $20000 and pay 15%.That would be denying reality.I just said I never called for it.I think $100 tax on such people would be my assessment.People making $32000 Should pay some thing[more than $100].<let us keep more of our money>.Look Alan, if the people making $32000 pay nothing can't you see that some one else must pay more? No matter if spending is cut others are paying their share for them.What we are talking about here is how do we share the cost.Any way you can devise that will let us keep more of our money without cutting essential services is fine with me. But don't pass the savings on to any one group at the expense of the rest of us.If we can't agree on this one your are right, the discussion is pointless. Not because either of us is right or wrong but because we just disagree. Reasonable people can do so. pez
