Kurt, I like the kgoeble aggressive side that emerges from time to time over at that other place!

It really astounds me when I read (im)posters elsewhere making statements that Portico is a product that is just a toy for the wealthy and lacks any value for mainstream use, or that some unified messaging service will displace Portico or undercut its price structure.

I believe that Portico will steal market share from the handheld devices like Palm Pilot as much if not more than from pager and email services or unified messaging.

I can have her remind me of an appointment, schedule an appointment, and look up someone in my address book( AND CALL THEM) instead of carrying my Palm Pilot all the time. Though I cannot add a task to my list yet, I can call her from my mobile phone and leave a voicemail to myself so I remember to add it later.

Add to this the unified messaging, call forwarding/find me capabilities and newspaper/stock quotes and I continue to be amazed by just how much usefulness Portico provides.

I can remember when Palm Pilot did their ad blitz prior to the Christmas season a few years ago, and can only imagine what S&S has in store for Portico this year.

Oh well, this doesn't change the stock price today, but it hopefully will
give us all something else to reflect on about GMGC during this frustrating period.

Seconds Out.

Kurt,

Normally not very trusting of anything from Yahoo, but I was somewhat astounded by the mentions of partnerships/strategic alliances coming from two huge international telecom companies. We can barely guess at which companies in the US are testing Portico, and two foreign giants mention their connections to GMGC prominently. Both Nippon T and T and France Telecom should be applauded, (and publicized), if its not too soon, that is.

Can't tell you what these little detective outings do for me, reinforcing the feeling that what goes down, with a great product behind it, shoots right back up higher than ever.

:)

Not day trading, not going anywhere, don't need my money tomorrow, and actually pretty patient with it all.

OH, YES......and need a whole lot more shares, too.
