Response by Pfizer (from Bloomberg article Update 2): In a statement, New York-based Pfizer noted that 3.5 million prescriptions for Viagra have been filled in the four months since the drug was approved. ''The post-approval data are the equivalent to two years of patient experience with any other medication, and they remain consistent with the clinical trial experience,'' Pfizer said. ''Viagra is safe and effective when used according to its product labeling.'' news.com
