I remember before the first split last year, DELL went to $172 from $100 in weeks. Are we seeing the same pattern this time again ? is DELL heading to 170 before the end of the month ? Should I wait till after the split or buy now ?

Mohan, I guess the thing to recognize is that one can't argue with success. Dell certainly has demonstrated that they know what they are doing and have been successful. Having said that, I should note that thing change very rapidly in the tech field, and the world situation is sure not helping our markets. So, even though Dell is successful, it doesn't mean that one can drop their guard and forget about stock and market risk.

Right now, I'm betting on Dell.
