To All - I think that the recent (on Tuesday) Entrust Technologies IPO bodes well for the encryption/security sector. For those of you who don't know, Entrust's IPO (ENTU) was oversubscribed at $16.00/share, 7.777M shares (total of 47.5M shares outstanding), raising $124M. The stock ran to $25.00 and closed today in the $18-$19 range. A big rival of ENTU, Verisign, had an IPO in January at $11.50, raising $42M. It closed in the $30 range.

Here are the latest financials for Entrust: In the 6 months ending June 30, revenues were $20.9, earnings 396K.

I'm certainly not trying to compare Jaws to either of these 2 companies (yet <g>), but I am trying to draw attention to the fact that we're in a hot sector and once we start generating some sales, it should get very interesting.
