El Dow Jones Newswires -- August 21, 1998 Piper Jaffray To Raise Intel To Strong Buy From Buy>INTC PALO ALTO, Calif., (Dow Jones)--Piper Jaffray Inc. analyst Ashok Kumar plans to raise his rating on Intel Corp. (INTC) on Friday to strong buy from buy. Kumar said he sees the chip maker posting a strong third quarter and expects to increase his earnings estimate to 80 cents a share from 78 cents a share. Kumar also plans to raise his 12-month target on the stock to 105 from 95.
