Fears realized.

You might want to take small comfort in this: Earlier on CNBC there was talk of the breadth of the market decline, and they mentioned that all 30 of the DOW stocks were down, and that all but 2 of the S&P 100 were down. The only 2 that were up were NOVL and CATP!

Have you see CIEN today? Big bad news, T will no longer evaluate some of their equipment, and half of it's market capitalization disappeared. Cienna and Tellabs both suspended their meetings today, to reconvene next month. TLAB is up some on the news. I think the merger will either be renegotiated, or is dead.

A tough day for CIEN shareholders, to say the least. As of this moment, CIEN is off 40% on the day!
