Been away for the past couple of days...and have been having trouble with SI's server..but...............DID YOU GUYS READ THIS????...this is GREAT news!!!!! Electronic Pictures Corporation has submitted seven high definition documentary proposals to and is in the process of developing several additional proposals for submission to NHK Television (Japan's public broadcasting system and the world's largest broadcasting entity). NHK consists of five television networks with a worldwide staff of over 15,000 and an annual operating budget of over six billion dollars and has broadcast in HD for over seven years. The Japanese have already been broadcasting in HDTV for over 7 years!!! Electronic Pictures Corporation is also engaged in a joint project to re-shoot hundreds of documentaries in HD at a cost significantly lower than the original programs were made, there by allowing the programs to be sold at lower-that-market prices to NHK and otherJapanese HD networks. EDII's subsidiary EPC will be profiting from the reformatting of original programs to this new technology...THERE IS NO WAIT FOLKS!!!..this is already a reality and a market exists!!! THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!!!
