How to get screwed coming and going: Based on TLAB's Aug. 19 reaffirmation of Aug. 21 shareholders meeting and forthcoming merger with CIEN, sell TLAB for loss and buy CIEN. Moral: don't let the tax tail wag the investment dog, and don't make investment decisions based on what management says. All in all, a very painful and expensive lesson.
