Can someone please correct me if the following is not correct:

At $15/shr, LSI Logic has a P/E of 15, a Price to sales of 1.5, and is selling at about 1.2 of its book value (which is supposed to be at around $11.5/shr).

And this is the same company with so many products that supposed to help bringing the world to the 21st century. Either I am incorrect with my data and assumptions, or there is definitely something wrong with LSI's picture.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

To some extent Bay did get rescued, but remember it went from 16 and change up to 41 before the takeover. I'm not saying LSI will make that kind of run anytime soon, but you can make 50% in this stock very quickly at these levels. If LSI dips to 12 I will probably buy more. The problem with catching this stock is that it makes very strong, but very quick runs. Last couple of times I bought around 19 and each time it jumped to the mid twenties in no time. Of course, that is no guarantee of what it will do this time!! I've had success each time I've done this, be it with Bay, DSC Communications (tanked to 13, then up to 23 in 3 months) and COMS. As I said though, I may have to wait with LSI. I can be patient (may have to be).
