I agree with much of what you say as far as finding a party that represents you, j_b; however, in most countries with multiple political parties, chaos is the result.

I'd never have an abortion myself, but cannot justify approving of government control of female reproduction. Believe in solving the abortion problem thru education & furnishing birth control where necessary.

I do believe in the death penalty. IMO, it's imperative in order to protect an innocent public from predators.

On the fence as far as the gun control question. Find myself being yanked back & forth with the arguments from both sides.

In any case, I believe the two-party system was inaugurated by the founding fathers with an eye to stability. If we waiver from their blueprint, it could be the undoing of their grand plan.

take care, ann

<<<'m pro-choice, but anti-abortion, anti gun-control, pro environment, anti-EPA, pro civil rights, anti affirmative action, in favor of tough sentencing for violent crime, but anti death penalty, a staunch feminist and in favor of homosexual rights, but against treating gender or sexual preference as a protected category. Who could represent me???!!! Above everything else, I believe in individual rights and individual responsibility. Less government and more personal involvement in the community. Which party should I support?>>

None of the above. After reading your views I am convinced that if Jesus ran for president he couldn't help you!
