here is a new theory a friend and I thought of.
They want to buy shares themselves because they know they can
get I higher offer later. They don't want break SEC insider trading
rules so they tell people about the offer. Maybe they get an mm
to get them cheap shares on the bid. The company
knows the stock will stay down and gobble shares. They
wait for the best offer and sell it all at a higher price.

Another theory from the city, without any facts. LOL
