<Was this ever established by the thread?> No, never established. Speculation centers on CSCO but we will probably never know. Just good ole Company A in the proxy document. BTW, that reads like a Tom Clancy novel--very interesting

cnn 7pm news had a story on cien and cien did question the timing of AT&T release..... Earlier on another financial network 6pm. cnbc? broker/fund mgr said they were in buying cien today and feel closing price is a buy... Others said deal will be done.. tlab needs tech.... perhaps at a better price. Not sure cien should go much lower if a second bidder. What was the price when tlab made offer 1.1 tlab all along said they weren't interested in cien cust as they were going to cross sell with their representatives.....
