As DELL goes, $4 is not that big of a move, especially with NASDAQ down nearly 2%, due to its high beta. Also today was options expiration Friday, and there was pressure to keep the stock as low as possible. Expect the climb to resume next week, of course world conditions permitting. In any case, expect DELL to do better than the markets over the next two weeks, until it splits.

It went back pretty much exactly what it was expected to do.

I hate to say the "I told ya so" but so far Dell is falling in line perfectly with the "typical" stock under a pending split pattern.

Depending on the world events, Monday may be a re-tracement down even further or a pretty flat session for us. By Wednesday we should start the climb back up for a new high (hopefully 130-135).

To bad I only partially took my own advice, I wasn't around to hear about the bombs on Thursday and wasn't able to dump everything until this morning (120 1/16). By midday I was right back in using the same money to by extra shares at 118 1/4.

Good luck to all & go Dell
