<I don't mind pINK posting,>

I agree. No matter how painful the viewpoint - for a long like myself - it's always better to remain open to new ways of looking at the same facts.

I also admit to not taking Pink seriously at first, mostly,I guess, because of his cryptic, mesianic style. And his characterization of MRVC management as "scumbags" seems scurrilous as well as (IMO) inaccurate.

But what bothers me folks, is that, apart from Pink's claim that the company's accounting violates SEC guidelines, I can't for the life of me understand why this stock is doing so poorly.

On a possibly more hopeful note, the volume Friday was anemic, less than one-half normal. Most of the other networkers by comparison had slightly higher than normal volume: COMS, CSCO, CS, ASND, and NN. Only FORE (75% normal) had lower than average volume.

I read this as meaning that most of the weak hands have been shaken out and that at these prices there's simply no more perceived fat to be cut out of MRVC's valuation. IMO it would take something as dramatic as a SEC censure to take the company to anything like Pink's target of 12. Is there anyone familiar with SEC guidelines in this regard who could address the issue? Mr Green? Or, who knows of the last company that the SEC censured on this point?

On a less positive note, the other networkers on Friday had nice recoveries from their lows for the day. CS, which I rate as the absolute worst of the group, hit a new all-time low, but then ended up 1/4. MRVC fell immediately to 18 and traded there the entire day. I didn't see very much volume at all at 17 3/4, the low for the day. But the stock didn't rally at all with the market.

I would like to see as much discussion as possible on this stock: Pro and Con.
