Hi Zeev,

I stand corrected. My rear view of the DOW was 20 years, so the 1996 peak was not included.
I agree in general with most of your statements, with your readings of the transport industries. Without researching (I have a golf game in an hour), I am fairly certain that the transport segment has substantially under-performed the other segments since Carter deregulated the airlines. The reason is of course not lack of passengers or goods, but too much competition. Too high overheads, high investment costs and hence razor thin profits(at best)

Off Topic, here's a question for you: I bought a week ago 150 CIEN at $72. Due to earnings warnings and TLAB rethinking the merger, it has crashed to around $30. Would you ditch it, or as I am considering, buying another 300 at this level to lower my average. This over reaction has, as I read it made TLAB an attractive short term buy. Check it out and let know what you think

Regards
Alan
