Tom,

Funny that you likened the current situation to 1994/1995 timeframe. A friend of mine and I have been thinking along the same lines of reasoning (and I use that term loosely).

That pattern of ITBM is forming up nicely, but under the backdrop of a world economic slowdown, I just cannot see us moving past the old highs.

Hi Tom- Indeed I do remember 1990. I managed to buy at that bottom... never to be repeated!! :-). The end of '94 is a blur as I got ready to retire, so I had to go back to a chart to recall what was going on. I used GSF as a surrogate for bonds and see a bottom about 4/95... maybe 3 months after the big '95 rally started. Guess I better start keeping track of that. Looks like bonds have really been taking a hit for the last 10 days.

Don't know about Friday. Sure was a strange day. Pretty good recovery all things considered.
