Yes, Lex. I said fundamentalists, and I meant that. Of the three supposedly monotheistic religions, all have their fundamentalist branches. Militant and fanatical Muslims don't represent the beautiful teachings of Mohammad any more than fundamentalist Christians represent the message of absolute love preached by Jesus.

On the Jesus side of it, consider this: "What you do to the least of me, you do to me." Therefore, if you were a Christian, Jesus would take your snide remark about Michele's possible looks as if you had said it directly to Jesus himself.

But you probably never even thought about it that way. Fundamentalism's focus is not on circumsizing one's own heart. It is consumed by the fear of evil in others. It never thinks that the enemy could be on the inside instead of the outside.
