I think so too. If the terms of the deal would not be reconsidered, then why bother calling off the shareholder meeting? Anyway, a Tellabs spokesperson explicitly stated on Friday that the entire situation had to be reassessed, which in my book means "recalculated."

For anyone interested, do a chart on SI with two stocks, TLAB and CIEN. Below the chart are some rough numbers for the two companies. Reading those numbers, you gotta wonder what institution would vote for a 1:1 stock swap (even if DWDM is strategically important).
