Hi Zeuspaul Thanks for the reply, I'll Try to answer your questions,, <<Are you referring to the ISP log on when you first log onto the Internet or are you referring to logging on to sites like SI. What browser are you using?>> When I click on the icon for the dial up, my user name is there but I must put in my password. then the ISP runs and then Internet Explorer starts. ( On my desktop machine I don' have to put in the password ,,,This is the way I wish it would work on the laptop ) <<I share the frustration. Sometimes this is a browser thing. IE 4.0 saves SI log on names and passwords but this capability does not seem to exist in any of my other browsers.>> Well I'm using " I think ? " the latest IE and it doesent save them, When selecting SI from my favorites,, I must input my user name and the password. <<If you are referring to the initial log on screen you may have to set this option when you originally create the dial up connection. If this is the case you can create a new dial up connection and toggle this option.>> Think I'll try your idea of creating a new conection, where is the togle to turn on the "save the passwords " Thanks HG
