Perhaps Clinton and Lewinsky can go into the art business together after he resigns. A lot of what flies under the banner of "modern art" today is no more than cheap imitations of pornography, designed purely to offend certain classes and sects of people. Like the jar of urine that has a Christian cross inside it. The "artist" (or rather the tormentor) was paid for that work with taxpayer dollars, courtesy of an NEA grant.

Oh such a creative work of art. I'm in awe of his abilities. NOT.

Also, I find it interesting that you say "The problem is that he imposes his very conservative views on everybody constantly on all kinds of issues that impose on my personal freedoms"

But isn't freedom of speech a personal freedom? And yet you "have a problem with that". Interesting view from a liberal. Not unique though.

Michelle,

Thats fine that Falwell is a man of god. Nobody has a problem with that. The problem is that he imposes his very conservative views on everybody constantly on all kinds of issues that impose on my personal freedoms (just to use an overused example, I dont believe Falwell is qualified to judge what is "art").

So do you believe the government should tell me what art is by funding artists?
