Hello Jaime...

The Mercedes and Volvo products were "developed" by Autoliv, although Simula is claiming that part of the technology is based on ITS patents. Accordingly, this is part of the Simula lawsuit against Autoliv.

Interestingly enough, when I spoke personally to a NHTSA representative in the process of doing my due diligence on Simula, I had reason to discuss "curtains" with him. He said that it appeared to him that the curtains were reliant on a portion of Simula's research, and it was his view that Autoliv's development was based on Simula technology.

I wish I could remember his name, but I am quite sure that Simula's "discovery" process will turn him up.

As for market size, there is plenty of room for everyone. ITS is Delphi's and TRW's product in the area of side impact head protection, with both of Simula's partners having recently made announcements that they were promoting the Simula ITS as their optimal solution. Even a 10%- 20% market share ends up providing Simula with multiple hundreds of million in revenues, though it may take another three-five years to get there.

Then, sharpen your pencil, and add in ITTR.

Markets rarely exhibit great patience, but this one will be worth waiting for. Let us hope they can straighten out the 16G difficulties with the San Diego consolidation. If that happens in the next couple of quarters, the shares will be worth considerably more than what they are trading for now.

Have a good weekend.
