The projected increased demand in lower priced PC's is encouraging and indicates that there will likely be demand for the Winchip, even at less than 300mhz speeds. The big question is whether IDTI, or anybody can make money producing these things. At this point it seems like the chips and even PC's are being sold at not much more break even prices in order to utilize manufacturing capacity. The demand is there....I don't think that has been questioned....but are there profits in the future? Also...are there profits for the retailers to encourage stocking these things?
