You're describing the exact reason I left Brown.

One of their traders advised the MMs take executions off automatic at very low sizes now whenever they can justify "fast" markets. The day it happened to me, NASDAQ total volume was 20% below average, which tells me the MMs are playing a new game.

In my heart, I thought Fido might be different. I guess not.

Gary,maybe it was simply that you were chasing TLAB on the upside and going against the grain on CIEN.Always easier.
I also bought CIEN through FIDO friday with no problem.
