Let's have another look at AZNT's May 19 10Q. There's this interesting stipulation:

LIQUIDITY AND CAPITAL RESOURCES

Since the reverse acquisition of Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc., (NV) the Company has had limited operations and has made preparation to launch more extensive operations in the near future. Currently, the Company's capital resources are adequate for this purpose. To finance these activities the Company is engaged in the private placement of securities. The company has sufficient capitol [sic] for the start of their Direct Marketing Program, which will begin in the third quarter of 1998.

Anyone have further information on this projected private placement? Reg-D? Reg-S? Either way, never good news. Now remember: this is from the Q2 10Q. Do we all realize what private placements often result in?

Yesssss! The often result in shorting! You seriously think the company doesn't know this'll happen? The SEC filings record no private placement. But.......

marcos i would like to thank you for that informative post and i realize you have a keen sense of when something is not quite right
so my question to you is other than clarification from the company regarding the stock swap and i will add one concern of my own can you see anything else that would tell you aznt does not have at the very least some potential. my concern is how much land do they have access to in the amazon and in order to produce enough products to reach the earnings levels they have hinted at do they have enough raw materials and do these wonders of nature(which i believe in) replenish themselves fast enough to maintain a viable supply chain. if aznt mgmt gave me written verification of a detailed account of how stock swap different classes will work along with how 5% dividend will work
and i feel convinced that we have a large enough supply of raw materials,i will have to add to my position in aznt at these imo depressed levels.
thank you
