According to Yahoo Insider Trades, between July 29th and July 31st (inclusive), there were 1,425,000 shares sold by insiders for just over $57 million. The three top sellers were Joseph A Lawrence (700K shs/$28 million), Lawrence Bouman (400K/$16 million), and Joseph Nacchio (195K/$7.8 million). Lawrence, Bouman, and 165K of Nacchio's were exercises of stock options.

I am uncertain, however, if the exercises were necessary or what.

GO BIG RED!!!

I should mention that since the beginning of the year, over 1.6 million options have been exercised by insiders and under 1.6 million shares have been sold.
