Basically, in an environment where the long bond is 5.5%, who wants to spend 32% for 5 month financing?

Thanks Mr. p. Every once in a while a nice post like this reassures me of your motives on this thread. Sometimes you get me to wondering a bit about ACRT, but a post like this is so obvious.

Of course no one wants to spend 32% for 5 month financing. ACRT is not charging anyone 32%, and you know it. On the 75% TADS, ACRT pays the other 25% at a later date. That's how it works: 75% immediately and the other 25% when the TAD is due.

On a related note, (to the thread & not a reply to Mr. p) ACRT is also not paying out dollar for dollar on the 100% TADS. Nor is this is an introductory offer for new customers. The 100% payout refers to 100% of what is due to the customer, which is less a discount from the TADs face value (which is what ACRT collects).

If I am wrong on any of this, I would greatly appreciate an explanation from anyone.

Thanks
