Thanks for the " Murray Hiebert" article. The comment made in the article "Now the question is how to get their new product to the market fast enough to satisfy the ever-changing needs of the marketplace," IMHO, will be the tough nut to crack for them.

Assuming they have a product which provides good yields quickly and can secure OEM wins, then maybe they'll make it. Without the OEM wins, having to fight their way into the retail channels could be beyond their financial resources.

The article also commented on the presence of Iomega and SyQuest. I understand that SyQuest is making a concerted effort to reduce the cost structure on both the drive and the media, with particular emphasis on the media. They're looking at having merchant media folks build the entire removable cartridge for them.
