Starowl: You got the impression both Boucher and Adler have seen bigger challenges, and that is interesting and useful to know. Well, perhaps I wasn't quite clear enough. I did NOT get that impression - that's the impression they were trying to convey in their comments. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the scene when the PC interface was killing ST-506 (well, I was, but working in CP/M and IBM-compatible retailing and service as opposed to technology development) and when IDE was killing the older PC interfaces. Boucher said that these were more trying times than the company faces now. Must have been really tough times then - NOW seems pretty damn brutal to me.
