Christopher: You mean, life ISN'T a fountain? Adaptec has become one of those wretched hobbies for me. I am not looking to sell my shares any time soon, so near term I'm more curious than anxious about the company. But I remain confident about the long term prospects, and I am prepared for negative earnings this quarter. The company has been particularly closed mouth about virtually everything so far this quarter, except layoffs and firings. It traditionally is a slow time for the business but the management must be deeply engaged in finding the future right now. As for my glasses, I am at peace with them here back at the lake, where they soak up the rosy glow of sunsets. Starowl
