Tom, I really don't know much about TLAB business to comment. Just to clarify myself, WDM is a physical layer (ISO layer 1) and ATM is a logical cell switching protocol layer (ISO level 2 and 3). Most Telcos are looking into running ATM switching over WDM. It's the most logical way to assure Quality Of Service (QOS) that lacks in IP, at the same time take advantage of latest data networking development, reduce cost of service and enable new technologies like adding video support. I the shift to ATM will take a long time. I expect players and technologies to change during that time frame. IP will have to change a lot to offer the same service and speed, so I would bet against it. Amir
