Jim, re: Celeron
I took at quit pass through the slides at Intel's web site. Look's like Mendocino is offered as Celeron 333 and CeleronA300.
What the heck is that supposed to mean? Didn't listen to the call. Any inputs from anyone?

My guess?
Look's like they're keeping Covington.
Products will be:
Cacheless Celeron 266 and 300
Cache Celeron A300 and 333 (A differentaiates)
Confusion in the market?

Jim, Re: I'll wait for some independent reviews before passing final judgement on the Celeron A.

That is what I am waiting too. The Intel information
is good for comparing with their own benchmark. So
far, the only convincing benchmark I have seen is
on Tom's hardware where he can keep everything equal
except CPU+MB which IMO is more reliable figure. Whether
I agreed with his conclusion is another matter.
