If I were a terrorist, Bob, the fixation the American people have displayed in the Monica mess would make me feel very confident. If I were a terrorist and saw the President of the United States crying at the funeral of the people I'd just murdered, that would make me feel very bold.

As long as he is there they think they have a chance. It reminds me of the Iranian attitude toward America under Jimmy Carter. Look what happened as soon as Reagan took office. They felt their butts were in deep doo-doo. Ronnie's cowboy act was more than effective. The same thing here except well I don't know what the hell Mr. Gore would do to intimidate them. But at the least it would wipe out this idea that the President is busy with the Monica mess. If I had to pick four I would say Massasoit, Tisquantum (later penned the name Squanto), Samoset, Tokamahamon (sp?), and Hobomok. Massoit and Tisquantum were the more important of the five being instrumental in the first peace treaties ever signed. Now here's three for you--- 1) How many people were killed in the siege of Fort Sumter? 2) Who was the first American civilian casulty of the Battle of Gettysburg? 3) Who was credited with surveying most of the land that the capital in Washington DC now stands?
