Actually it was 11 in a row. And my AMZN short is not a trade. It's an investment. I am about ready to average up.

I'm afraid I too am going to be looking elsewhere - the lesson has finally sunk in that being right about the FA is completely useless in this stock. With the float and options action so tightly controlled, this is not a horse race. The longs look no further than the historic price action for confirmation of their own expectations for the future, and the control of the price clearly has kept them from even hearing the questions we've been asking about AMZN's creative accounting, etc.

Eventually the truth will out, and this pyramid cannot be unwound gracefully. But given the teflon sensibilities of the longs, I now see that the illusion can be maintained for at least several more years
