Keith, I'm only making a minor point. Are you sure there are no Macs available in your area? The Apple website should clear it up. No one can argue with your major points about Mac vs PC availability. Marc

**All I called Apple Direct Sales today and was on hold 45 minutes before I gave up. Called later and was on hold 30+ before I gave up. Called one last time and finally reached someone after about 20 minutes. I ordered a G3 266 and was told it would ship in about a month. Now I love Macs and even though I almost went with a compaq this time, I could not. Any new first time purchaser of a computer, or someone not as committed to Apple as I am, would not put up with that kind of poor business model. Apple needs to stop being so arrogant and cock sure of themselves. Their loyal flock may just decide to pay less money, get more computer and better service by calling Dell
