Is this article online anywhere? I did a quick search and came up empty.

Also, a little good news, although the profit forecasts seem a little low.

"Finally: looking for a bargain in a bouncy U.S. stock
market? The latest profit estimates for giant software
developer PeopleSoft (PSFT) forecast 48 percent or
greater growth in 1998 and 46 percent in 1999. The
California company's shares were recently selling for
about 40 percent off their high of 57 11/16, set in April."
