I just don't like the inverted yield, in my mind it makes the long term out look very shaky.

and the day sail, the short term...
shaky as well, i imagine.

in what specific ways,
might one see the short term impact?

Jim, here is the NH on the S&P 500 today. Food & Drugs did well but the others are strangers.
I found the list interesting.

AHP
ASC
BF.B
CVS
DTE
KR
LLY
MTC
PE
PHM
RAD
SAI
TAN
TXU

While they did not make new highs HNZ, HSY, MRK, SLE...the paper cos did well also. Defensive stocks????
