Why do people need more than what he gave? He admitted it was a mistake. He admitted he lied. He "regretted" that he "misled" people. But, according to an arrogant and not a contrite Clinton, he was "legally accurate" in his deposition to the Jones Court, but he "did not volunteer information". Weasel. And Not True, Again. The Bottom Line, dave g, is that you Don't Go on TV and wag your finger and say you "want to be firm about it", and baldly lie to the whole of the American people, And allow your wife to publicly implicate herself and her own credibility in your own sorry lie about your own sorry illicit sexual infidelities, And expect that you can Go Again on TV and simply say you "regret" (regret what, except getting caught?) it, and expect that Everyone in the USA will wholeheartedly say "oh who cares if you committed a felony, because you were lying about sex!" No, I'm sorry but The Law doesn't make exceptions for perjury about sex, and besides, I don't believe that Bill Clinton is sorry about a Thing except that he was Driven into a Corner by the evidence, and Had No Choice except to admit that he really does have a Marvelous Capacity for Deceit. And Furthermore, if it was Unacceptable for Nixon to go on TV and say "I am Not a Crook", when it was later proved that he was implicated in Obstruction of Justice charges, then Why should it now be Acceptable for Clinton to lie? Because he lied, Perjured, and possibly Obstructed Justice about taking blow jobs and who knows what else from a 21 year-old employee in a small room off the Oval Office? Give me a Break!

What kind of example are our children getting to see when they have to hear our President talked about in terms of lies, deception, blowjobs (yes, I even heard that spoken outright on CNBC by a commentator) as my 13 year old daughter listened. Now will you say to me "what is you daughter doing listening to such stuff." Gee guy, we are just watching world news, not the Playboy Channel (there was a time when graphic sex was NOT included) her mother wishes for her to know about the world around her, to understand that the world is more than just what is the newest video. So now we have to deal with a President, who in my opinion should be a moral person, and is not. Didn't he really want to be President, it obviously meant something to him at one time. Why in the world could his womanizing not have stopped while he was in the position as leader of this country. I guess some people must have it all He wanted it, it was so precious a thing to him, then why in Gods name make himself a laughing stock. Teaching sons and daughters is done by example and the example shown by this man, BC, is not what I want for my children. Sex by a President in the Oval Office or an alcove slightly to one side, with someone other than his wife, is a disgrace to this nation, add to it lying outright to the country, pile on top of that possible obstructing justice. You can say what you want but the bottom line for me is this man does not deserve to be where he is, he is not worthy. What kind of message does this send to our kids? >Men who abuse their daughters. Say what?? Monica wasn't his daughter? < No but Chelsea is! What kind of message has been sent to that nineteen year old girl? >He admitted it was a mistake.
