What do you think will happen to Komag? Do you think it is a good time to accumulate some at the current price levels?

KMAG took market share from HMTT this quarter. KMAG's revenues increased sequentially by 4-5%, HMTT was essentially flat. It's not like KMAG slashed pricing, either, their ASP only dropped a few percent.

I don't want to make sweeping statements based on a few percentage points, but a big part of HMTT's investment thesis was their alleged competitive advantage over KMAG. Based on this I expected HMTT to emerge from the downturn both larger and stronger than KMAG. Doesn't seem very likely now.
