There is tremendous pricing pressure on board makers. Maybe it stems from the percipitous drop in the consumer prices of computers, cell phones and such. There is oversupply too. Whenever a board maker gets up the nerve to ask an OEM for a price increase he typically sees the OEM shop around and then ask for a get a decrease instead. There are lots of people with idle equipment ready to work for zilch!
