QUESTION TO ALL regarding puts on the Nikkei 300. I just checked into buying puts on the Nikkei 300, and September 220 puts (Nikkei 300 is currently around 230) was last traded on Aug 11. This is fairly typical. Does anybody know why these options are so thinly traded. I really want to buy puts, however I am a little apprehensive. I got what seemed to be a really attractive quote, but I can't help but wonder why more people aren't trading this (symbol NIK). Any thoughts?
