No, he didn't "discover" the tree..... No, apparently not: ''Touch of Nature(TM)'' is a 100% pure natural product derived from the sap and leaves of a small tree found in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. This variety of tree has been named ''Natures Taste'' by one of the company's founders, Dr. Domingos Loricchio. biz.yahoo.com So. It's coming in very clear now. THIS "variety" of stevia has been "named" "Nature's Taste" by the good doctor. Which makes it an entirely NEW THING, right? Let's have that correct botanical classification, shall we? A friend who sent for a sample of "Touch of Nature" tells me that the label specifies only that it's made of "Nature's Taste 100%". How helpful. He also says that the price--if you actually want to buy the stuff--is absurd. But as always, maybe we should Ask the Indian... But HEY!!! Let's all just RENAME things, that makes 'em Something Else, right??? And then we sell 'em to the suckers. This is beyond belief.
