Hi folks from a refugee from the "other" board. Man its getting ugly over there. I get about about ten mailings a week from people tauting their newsletters most of which I trash. Got one from a Martin Weiss I thought worth mentioning. He claims the 4 largest Japanese banks are going to have to dump $300 billion worth of US stocks in the near future to avoid bankruptcy. He claims 7 of the dow stocks including IBM and GM(the only two he mentions in his teaser ad) will go down 70% from here and the DOW will suffer a 3000 pt hit. I've never heard of the guy and dont know his track record, but his basis is pretty much the same as I've been reading over here the last few months. Got out of all the drillers back in the first of June. Wish it had been a couple weeks earlier, but man what a disaster it avoided. Currently short NKE and have PUTS on CCI. Its my first foray into the short side of things. Tough to make the switch. Thanks for all the well reasoned ideas and data over here.
