I think that a large part of INCY drop last week was due to the H&S pattern that formed...causing many day traders to short it...some are probably covering now. I know of 1 chat room that discussed shorting it...found out after the fact (I wasn't actively following INCY for a while). Thus it was probably on many peoples short list @ that time. Best of Luck, Where'd He Go?

>> Some of the problem in (name your biotech)'s stock has been short-term: A big institutional investor
has steadily sold big chunks of (name your biotech) in the last several weeks, analysts said, which
begat more selling from other institutions worried that someone else had an insight they
didn't. <<

There you have it....... the sophistication of the institutional investor with respect to biotech.

The entire sector has crashed because of clowns that assume that the next guy knows more than them. Gives one great confidence.

Chiro,
interesting article. The sell off was IMO an overreaction. I personally purchased more shares at $21. The tracking stock makes sense and will allow INCY general to continue to have srong earings visibility. PNK hasn't even started yet. Do you know how difficult it is to start up an operation like this. Also the pharmas have eperience using INCYs database, I doubt anyone will switch. INCY will again be a $40 stock within 12 months.
