<<OT>>>Re: Name-Calling, Insults, etc.
(Not just directed at you, Slider)
When I was a little grrl I was taught that if I wanted to insult someone or accuse them of some despicable behavior I must do it to their face so that they could respond with a physical challenge if they chose. I don't think 'Over-the-Net' qualifies as 'face to face.'
This name-calling from a distance strikes me as less than honorable conduct.

Also, It is not in the best interests of the Thread since it discourages many from posting who do not wish to expose themselves to this disparagement.

Isn't it better for us all if we politely point out the faults in one another's facts and/or reasoning rather than disparaging/insulting them personally?

Maybe this is some sort of 'guy-thing', but it seems to me to be counter to our collective best interests.

regards,

diana

Slider, Yes I am in EVI already and am watching ESV,RON, BHI, and HAL "like a hawk". For crying out loud I have to laugh! Ten years ago the world consumed about 52mm bbls/day of oil .Currently the world consumes 73 mm bbls/day of oil, admittedly down from a peak of 75mm bbls/day a year ago,and thus the cause of the "oversupply".

Now just how do you produce "only" 73 mm bbls/day of oil- well I'll say it- you have to drill and service many, many wells worldwide. The industry is not drying up and blowing away. Sure we are off our peaks but there is a tremendous amount of field/well work to do every day still, to produce those "mere" 73 mm bbls/day of oil that the runs the world economic machine....

The only other market sector IMO that is as oversold as oil/oilfield service stocks are the ECM's... Check 'em out price/sales ratios on the top line companies are generally under 0.5!!

Sincerely,

Doug F.
