Can u trade off the level II screen or does it act just like a tech indicator ??

Yes, you can trade off the screen by activating the TRADE button at the top. In the dialog box, you can type in the http address to take you directly to your trader, eg Fidelity, Schwab, Etrade etc.
I think the colors are the same in all Level II screens from various venders. What I like the best was the transparency of data, MMs ID, the Ask, the Bid and the respective size. And also the charts are fantastic. The DBC StockEdge data are fed real time to METASTOCK PROFESSIONAL -buy separately -, which you can use by making & consulting more charts on a stock and reading the stock-specific expert advice with regards to MACD, RSI, Stochastics, and many more. DBC give charts as such without trading signals. In Metastock Professional, you can also attach the expert advice, such as MACD,RSI, Stochastics, etc to the charts and get real-time trading advice for buy and sell. This buy and sell recommendation ,I tried from daily data. I am yet to try this buy and sell signals based on real time data.
More to learn as I go along.
