Well I was going to post this to your message regarding the moving averages and the overnight session so it would be in context....but I could not find it. I suppose...I just put it in context.

My method requires a touching of the 50 period ma. If I avoid using the overnight sessions it can take an hour or more on a gap day to trigger a signal as it will take that long for a 50 period ma to catch up on the one minute bar chart. My problem with that is sometimes the gap days are the best to go with the direction of the gap.

I have been experimenting with using the overnight session and the MAs from the overnight and my method. Today I will give it a go. I suspect we will hit the 50 period ma in the first 15 minutes of trading ...currently about 1084 and change....and if the TICK goes real negative from the get go, as I suspect and the price stays below the 50 period ma, then I will get short right after the open. I am going to give it about 15 minutes to clear up any quick whipsaws, but I suspect it will be short right after the open.

Your indicators are confirming of what I suspect to happen. Now let's see if it does.

I now see the mini has dropped to the 82 range. Maybe I won't be technically hit on my method, but I still think a short near the open will be profitable. I will watch for a good entry.

-Scott

Looks like I got a bad data feed.

Right now I show the Spoo at 1080.50, SPX at 1080.83 and the PREM at -7.99.

Odd....
