I recently received this e-mail from someone whose market acumen I deeply respect. All comments are appreciated: <<You asked, "Would you invest in this company?" I guess the answer is: "I have no money invested in this company". I think there will be hoards of sellers once the deal is inked. Step back from the thread a moment and look at the broad direction it has taken. Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, on that thread is waiting for the signing of the Texaco contract. I read in one of the posts that Texaco managers have even been buying the stock in anticipation of a deal being done with Texaco. Do you think they are long-term holders, or just in it in anticipation of the signing of a deal with Texaco. Plus, there are something like 6,500 shareholders in this stock. That is god-awful number for a stock this small (this number is more like a NYSE big cap). No, I'm not going to buy. Maybe I'm wrong the the thing rallies on the announcement, but who would be doing the buying? If it goes to, say $5, and everybody starts selling, who is going to be doing the buying at that price? People who like the Texaco deal and what it does for the company? They're already in this stock!! Marketmakers? No, they don't accumulate stock. You tell me who is going to buy it, who is going to be the NEW purchaser of stock at those levels. You tell me that, and I'll buy RNTK tomorrow.>>
